Necessary website storage

• PHP session cookie: on pages with secure forms, a session cookie helps protect submission and keep the form working. It is set by Pandi Balt’s website and normally lasts until the browser session ends.
• Analytics choice: this site stores pb_analytics_choice_v1 in your browser’s local storage to remember whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics. It expires for site use after 180 days, when we ask again. It is used by Pandi Balt to honour your choice.
• Form security: the General Enquiry, Marine & Claims Instruction and Motor Claim forms load Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate submissions from abuse. Cloudflare may use browser storage needed for security. Its pre-clearance feature is not enabled for these forms.

These functions are used to provide the forms and remember your privacy choice. Rejecting optional analytics does not prevent you from using the site or forms.

Optional Google Analytics

Only after you select “Accept optional cookies”, we load Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-YZP5TN3GQN, provided by Google. It helps Pandi Balt understand visits and clicks on telephone or email links. It sets first-party cookies _ga and _ga_* to distinguish users and sessions. This site configures their expiry to 180 days; renewed use may update them. Google receives the resulting analytics information.

Analytics does not load before acceptance. If you reject it or withdraw consent, the site stops sending Analytics events and attempts to remove its first-party cookies. Data already lawfully collected before withdrawal is not erased by that browser action; contact our privacy contact for a data request.

Change your choice

Use the “Cookie settings” button in the footer on any page. You can accept or reject optional analytics with equally available buttons. Your choice is remembered for 180 days on this browser. Other services

Nano IT hosts the website. Cloudflare provides form security and private document intake, and may present a security challenge when configured to do so. Those security controls are distinct from Google Analytics. We do not load a Google Ads tag or embedded social-media content in the current website code.
