About PANDI BALT Ltd.

Pandi Balt is a Baltic claims handling, marine loss adjusting and third-party administration company serving P&I Clubs, marine and motor insurers, shipowners and other principals in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.

Established in Riga in 1995, the company combines local claims work with specialist support across the region.

PANDI BALT Ltd. was established as a joint venture with PANDI SERVICES J. & K. Brons GmbH, the legal successor of J. & K. Brons, founded in Germany in 1865.

Pandi Balt represents the majority of the International Group P&I Clubs and other marine insurers, as well as more than 40 European insurance companies working in the field of MTPL insurance.

Marine & P&I

Our marine practice provides P&I correspondence and marine claims handling, including cargo, crew and casualty matters. We also provide marine claims adjusting and loss assessment for principals needing local investigation and a documented assessment of loss.

Motor Claims

We handle motor and MTPL claims for insurers, including Green Card and cross-border cases, and act as a claims representative where instructed. See Motor Claims Handling.

Third-Party Administration

Under an agreed mandate, Pandi Balt can administer individual claims or claims portfolios with defined authority, reporting and service levels. Our Claims Handling page explains the process from notification through settlement, recovery and closure.

Legal Support & Specialist Network

Our team includes lawyers and professionals experienced in insurance claims handling. Depending on the matter, our work is supported by marine, technical, medical and other specialists throughout the Baltic States.

Our network includes survey companies, law firms and other specialists. We coordinate their work for each case and provide maritime and insurance legal assistance where required.
